2010 Midwest Identification Series
St. Louis Sub-Regional

  July 19-20, 2010 for 17u Players
July 26-27, 2010 for 13u and 15u players

The St. Louis sub-regional event will be held on the following dates and locations:

17u - July 19-20 at St. Louis University.  Click here for directions.

13u and 15u - July 26-27 at the Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex.  Click here for directions. 

This will be a showcase style tryout event. The top players in Missouri and eastern Arkansas will be featured at this event.  

International baseball rules have different eligibility birth dates.  Here is the guide on which age group to registor for:

Born in 1993 or 1994, register for the 17u NTIS event
Born in 1995 or 1996, register for the 15u NTIS event
Born in 1997 or later, register for the 13u NTIS event

The cost for the St. Louis sub-regional event is $169.   Once you register and pay, a confirmation email will be sent to you.  You must register for this event in advance.  There will be no walk-ups.

We expect the event to fill up and go to a waiting list by Spring.  If you are interested, please don't delay.

The following is a preliminary schedule for the event:

Monday July 19 for 17u, Monday July 26 for 13u & 15u

8am - player check-in (no walk ups).  You must register and pay online prior to the event.

9am-noon - skills showcase for position players (
pitchers will be evaluated during games)

60 yard dash
Outfield fielding and throws
Infield fielding and throws
Catcher pop times
Batting practice round

Evaluations will be completed by pro scouts, college coaches and former professional players.  A skills evaluation report will be provided following the event.

Noon-10pm - Showcase Games.  Players will be assigned to teams.  Each team will play 3 games.
Game performance will be evaluated by two coaches and two evaluators per game.  Four sets of eyes will be evaluating the players.


Tuesday July 20 for 17u, Tuesday July 27 for 13u and 15u

8am-8pm, Showcase Games

After the games, the evaluators and coaches will meet to select the top 20 players to invite to the Midwest NTIS event to be held in St. Louis on August 13-15.  At the Midwest event, the players will compete against other top players selected from the Tulsa and Kansas City sub-regionals.
