2010 Midwest Identification Series
Midwest NTIS

August 13-15, 2010

ST. LOUIS, MO

The Midwest Regional NTIS will be one of the top baseball events in the Midwest in 2010.  This is an invitation only event.  The top 20 players at each age group from the sub-regionals will be invited to play in a three day, showcase-style event  in St. Louis on August 13-15, 2010.  Players will competing against the top players in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.  Players will be evaluated by former professional players, scouts and college coaches.

At the older ages, this will be a highly scouted event.  The 2009 event had 10 MLB teams represented and over 20 college coaches.

The top 18 players at each age will then be selected to represent the Midwest at the USA Baseball Training Complex on September 10-12, 2010.  We are looking for players that can ultimately compete at the national level at 14u, 16u and 18u.  We are also looking for players who understand the right way to play the game, and how to be a good teammate.

Last year's Midwest teams were very competitive, going 6-4 in North Carolina.  Six players from the Midwest were selected for the USA National Team trials, including:

Josh Davis, OK
Blake Wiggins, AR
Drew Ward, OK
Dylan Bundy, OK
Mason Hope, OK
Cody Kakuk, KS
